INSPIRE offers a range of training from one day workshops to longer courses. We can work with you to identify your training needs and develop a programme accordingly. All our trainers are experts in their fields and bring with them a wealth of experiences from a variety of settings. We are intuitive, focused and perceptive when delivering training. We are responsive to the needs of the participants and thus able to create the best learning environment for all.

We organise morning and all day seminars on a number of subjects. These have included: claiming spaces for children, personal histories and professional practices, children, creativity and the practitioner and working in integrated partnerships. The morning seminars offer delegates an opportunity to learn and explore the latest developments in play and playwork and a valuable, informal opportunity to network.

We have worked in partnership with other providers such as Sure Start Children’s Centres and Training Teams to organise conferences throughout the UK. The conference topics have included one day introduction to More is Caught than Taught, Developing Inclusive Organisational Cultures and the Dynamics of Oppression.



The synthesis of INSPIRE UK trainers and our colleagues in the USA bring a unique perspective to these conferences and seminars. We can offer delegates experiences that are enriching, challenging and supportive to their personal and professional development.
